Torchon bobbin lace pattern for making picture frame surrounds.

This is a torchon pattern for adding various shaped frames to use with scrapbooking.

The pattern uses 11 pairs.

Some knowledge of torchon would be helpful.

The pattern comes with a circle, square, oval and a straight length so you can make various frames for your photographs.

The finished sizes are approximately

• Oval - 10.5cm x 9cm
• Circle - 9.5cm
• Square - 7.5cm

The thread used is Finca 30 or embroidery stranded thread.

Techniques include roseground, honeycomb and adding beads.

The pattern comes complete with instructions plus straight and corner designs to make your own size.
