This Month's Project - A Fairy Birthday Card

I made this card for my Little Crafter’s birthday, using a fairy stamp, layered cake decoupage, and a simple peel-off greeting.

It was such a soothing make, and reminded me how lovely it feels to create something special, just for her.

This is a beautiful 100% Egyptian cotton thread that is perfect as a beginner thread, or a gimp thread for bobbin lace but can also be used for hand embroidery, knitting, crochet and other crafts.

The thickness is between a DMC Perle 5 and 8. If you have the Threads For Lace book by Brenda Paternoster, this thread is 15 wraps (DMC Perle 5 is 12 wraps and 8 is 17 wraps).

Each ball is 5g which is approximately 40 meters.
